Good message for today. And may these days of light help us all to feel merry and bright. The challenges we imagine may never materialize. We’ll see…

Susie, this, "conversation without eye contact?" and this, "I’ve narrowed it down to two things that I’d like to learn: how to be a better writer and how to love more generously" yes!! I love this. shining right back at you. xoxo

I’m partial to that idea about writing being conversation without eye contact. Gives me a whole new take.

I echo Jocelyn about the phrases that captured me. And your light is shining on me, bringing warmth and peace, and I hope shines back from me to you.

I want to be a better writer and to love more generously… what a powerful and potent intention, especially since each one polishes the other. I will move forward buoyed by your words. Thanks. Again!

Each one polishes the other…..Yes! I have days when I despair of the writing. But how would I learn to love more generously without it?

I think a poet, writerteacher was asked that question and he replied, Breathe, my dear.

There is so much love in your writing and it's always teaching me something simple and profound like Deb's wonderful Soul Support, posters and books. Much light and love to you in the year ahead.

It’s such a blessing to have the opportunity to call on Deb. It’s a privilege to remember her.

Such kindness and gentleness, such forgiveness for it all, from both you and Deb. I remember you talking of her, and of what an extraordinary generosity she had for others. These are all such "worthy" qualities. I feel a bit bathed after reading this, dear friend.

It’s a contagion. That’s how it gets passed on, isn’t it?

One of my favorites of yours and a lasting inspiration --I don't have Deb, but I leave little notes for myself here and there on my desk, in my files, in piles, in emails, and they create the same epiphany or the same reinforcement. I never thought to do this for others (not the art part, not my talent!). Lovely year's end to you and all hopes for sanity, peace, justice and health for all living things ahead, however possible.

Thanks, Zoe. She had such a light touch. You never thought you were being proselytized at.

Susie, deep in the dark heart of the universe, Manhattan, I read your words and smile, feel more connected to my community, and also so proud of Deb’s offerings to us all. They are part of my curriculum for 2025. Thank you dear and missed IWOW friend.
