Glad you found us to tell us your stories. May all those hiding and lonely be found this year--or at least a few of them/us.

I guess that's what the writing does. It gives the readers a clue as to where to look for me. So glad you persevered in the search.

Susie! Because I have a wretched case of bronchitis, there’s some brain fog happening. I will use this as an excuse for not sharing in dazzling colors here! SEEK AND HIDE is such a true piece of writing! Made me feel so alive to read it. THANKYOU, SUSIE!

Very dear Tara....I'm just getting past bronchitis. We made the two hour drive up from Berkeley to the Sierras and it was really helpful. The heat of the car blowing in my face. Before that I could not get warm for three weeks! Enough about me. So pleased that Seek and Hide found you!

"To imagine that someone is really looking for you and will not be satisfied until he finds you is a deep joy, an essential game, possibly the game of life. To be left alone crouching in the dark is our great fear." Thank you Susie Kaufman. For me, this says it all.

It takes a while to own that, doesn't it?

The verse from "Amazing Grace:" "I once was lost, and now am found. was blind and now I see."

Not a Christian, I didn't encounter the hymn until adulthood: It sang to me then and still sings to me now.

I completely agree. I believe we can claim whatever verses hold us and teach us.
